HIDDEN GARDEN

In spring 2006 I developed roundly installation in form of panorama –
Hidden garden to which the viewer can enter.
It is meant to be positioned in diverse public spaces appealing on collaboration of work and environment.
In last two decades of last century we observe growing interest in the places where modern society lives,
such as shopping centres, hotels, museums, airports, gardens, …
The public space is reclaimed for more urban use such as shopping and vacations in one’s own city.
It is significant that the new visitors to the city are increasingly involved in the design of the public space.
The produced installation form Hidden garden is visually borrowed from those new urban spaces and the
rules of design marketing. But at the same time is a new space offering to walker new environment with
artistic prospects.
It is hidden in its form of panorama and transparent material that is why it is a fusion of inside and outside.
It is trying to function not only with nature but also with architecture. It is private form in public space.
It is garden which reveals a great deal about the concept of ideal beauty prevailing at given time, about
aesthetic fashion and about the relationship between mankind and nature.
